This it IT!
I bought my GMT II in 1984. I have other Swiss made automatics that cost alot. This is the last one I would give up. I have warn it 90% of the time for 24 years. Its not a watch, it's really part of me. It will outlive me and has everlasting value. Don't waste money on the others unless all you care about is what time it is.

I think this may be the ultimate Rolex model
What can you say? Clearly there's no need for anyone to buy this, but it is simply gorgeous. The red second hand and date are simply stunning and the watch just exudes quality and craftsmanship. Is it "worth it?" Of course not! If you simply "must" have something like this, as I felt I did, I can't imagine a purchase that you'll be more happy with. Try and see one at a Rolex store, you can't believe how beautiful it is.
