Great camera for amateurs
I've had my Canon Rebel for a couple years now and it takes fabulous pictures. The difference is amazing from basic digital cameras. Highly recommend this camera.

From Professional to Amateur Perfection
The best review I can give on this product is my personal experience with this camera. I have used everything from high end professional use cameras, to the disposable digital cameras, to the credit card sized middle-class digital cameras. I decided to jump to the middle ground for my last camera purchase, when I bought this one.

I was in the same place a few months ago that many of you are in now; reading review after review on multiple websites. Each review lists many details, many of which are very similar. In all honesty, for most users, the minor details will not matter very much; it's more based on performance, which in this case, is top notch.

I've had this camera for a few months now and I have absolutely zero complaints. My range of subjects differs from senior portraits, going out with my friends, to sporting events, etc. and this camera captures all of them with an ease. There are still elements on the camera that I am attempting to learn but the automatic capturing has been fully self explanatory.

I believe this camera is perfect for people wanting to transition from a point and shoot digital to someone who is looking for a digital SLR. With 10.1 mega pixels, the picture quality is high. The 2.5" screen makes it easy to read and view pictures on a larger scale. There are also some different Picture Styles. This helps a lot when people aren't too computer savvy when attempting to create the perfect picture. You can adjust certain settings on the LCD screen in order to get the right look for your picture.

Excellent
Whether a beginning digital SLR user or somewhat of an enthusiast, this is a fantastic entry level camera. It has plenty of features built in, and also has the capacity to be updated (via download and computer hookup) of new and interesting picture styles that add more creativity to your photography.

There are the easy modes built in, like a point and shoot camera, then you have a selection of more creative and somewhat manual modes.

The output quality is high, so that quite big enlargements can be produced without losing picture quality and tonality.

This camera is a great camera and a great buy no matter what you level of photography. And the internet is full os websites offering extremely useful information and tips on how to get the best out of it.

Best Entry Level Digital SLR Keeps Getting Better
The third generation XTi is the successor to the popular Rebel XT. An entry level camera but considered to be quite an excellent performer in many levels.
It comes with a battery and a sleek compact charger. It also uses the well known Digic II image processor. Uses CF card.

Improvements compared to its older brother XT:
- 10 megapixel resolution compared to 8 megapixel for the XT
- A larger 2 1/2 inch LCD panel compared to 1.8 inch
- A new self-cleaning sensor
- 9 point AF system while the XT has 7
- Better burst shooting capacity from 23 to 27 frames
- 7 LCD brightness levels compared to 5 for better viewing in bright surroundings

Pros:
- Image quality is superb. Color rendition and low-noise
- Light and small
- Can shoot RAW format
- Impressive long battery life.

Cons:
- Cannot shoot using the LCD panel. You always have to use the viewfinder. LCD is for menu and playback only.
- Supplied lens is very basic. No image stabilizer. Slow.
- No movie capability

XTI
The Canon XTI Rebel is very impressive and I am very satisfied with it, my only complaint is the battery should be larger. I think cutting cost with something so crucial to the camera is short sighted.

Canon 770 IS, exactly as ordered
For anyone thinking about ordering this camera, it is amazing what they have put into such a small package. Included in the deal was a 4 gig sd card. All products were as advertised, and the free delivery came a day earlier than promised.
There seems to be a lot of choices to pick from when using the menu, and that might take awhile for me, my attention span is shorter than a puppy.
As of this moment, I am really glad I ordered this camera and glad I ordered it from Amazon. The best price, great service, and quick and free delivery.

the proof is in the pictures
This camera was a replacement to a previous Canon 590. I was able to compare its function and results with that as well as my daughter's Sony 8mp Cybershot.
Although physically this is a much different camera in terms of size, functionally it is similar to the 590 with minor differences. With the 590 there is a setting for both "night shot" & "night scene" where there is no "night scene" setting on the 770. However, pictures shot at night with the 770 fared as well if not better than the 590 as long as the camera was steady.
The extra two megapixels seem to really make a difference in terms of color and clarity. I am not a professional photographer, but I'm not a rank amateur either. Compared to the Sony, these pictures jump out at you. The color in the Sony appears washed out when placed next to the Canon. We had two separate family events where several pictures of the same scene were shot with each camera so we could actually compare the pictures on the computer side by side. The difference is stunning. For the person who isn't interested in all the technical data, the bottom line is....
the Canon 770is 10mp camera takes excellent pictures with excellent color and clarity. It is compact and easy to manage except perhaps for those who have sausages for fingers (you know who you are). The price has recently dropped as well, so for a great buy, I'd strongly recommend this camera.

Great Camera, good deal!
This is the second camera of this type we have bought. We got this one for our daughter and she loves it. Ease of use and small enough to fit into her purse. Love the Canon cameras.

all in the family
When I mentioned to my brother that I was planning to buy a new digital camera, he told me that he, his son and his daughter all had this model and that they were all very happy with it. Figuring I couldn't get a better recommendation, I bought one for myself. I, too, am very happy with it and look forward to taking it on my next vacation. The picture quality is great and the size is ideal, especially for traveling.

Love This!
Both my daughter and my son love this dollhouse! It is not a girly house nor is it boyish, but something both genders can enjoy! Getting the house and all of that furniture in one deal was really amazing, too!

I love the fact that it is actually 2 houses in one but my favorite thing about the house is the steps! My daughter loves walking her dolls up and down them. I wish I could buy more stairs seperately.

Very versatile!
My parents got this for my daughter's 2nd birthday & she has played with it frequently ever since. It is nice that most of the furniture is not definitively one thing or another because she can use her imagination to create the scenario she wants. Objects are constantly moving from one room to another since there is no definition of what is the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom. And she loves the movable staircases! Plus my 3 yr old nephew enjoyed it very much when he visited, so it seems to be quite gender-neutral.

Furniture Falls Apart
We've had this for a year, and my kids rarely play with it. Everytime they set up the house, the furniture breaks. Whether it is the steps falling off, or the bunk beds separating, it's very dissapointing for the kids. My kids are not unusually hard on toys, in fact very few things have ever broken. I bought this to be more gender neutral since we have 4 kids, but I wish I had stuck with the reliable Fisher Price plastic house.

I bought this for my granddaughter, at the suggestion of my daughter; we all love it. It's very well made, easy to put together and the furniture could not be nicer. I've recommended to many, already.

Not bad, still getting used to it
I bought this camera from Amazon about a month ago to replace a 4 yr old Kodak. I went with this camera for the great reviews on multiple sites and because of the Canon brand. I don't intend to take a ton of pictures, but wanted something that could fit in a pocket and take good, quality pictures. The price being around 0 was good for me and the 3" LCD screen is great for viewing.

I did find the flash a bit annoying at first, but maybe that's because of my ignorance. It took me a while to figure out I had to push the button half way down to focus the lens on the subject and then take the picture. I was getting frustrated since I was trying to take pictures of my son and by the time the picture actually took, he was almost out of the frame. I think I'm getting the hang of it now. Pictures look good, not as great as I hoped. Took some video at a children's concert and that looked good for a point-and-shoot camera. Hope to learn the camera some more!

I am a "point and shoot" type of photographer and just need the basics. This is a great camera at a great price.

Poor quality when set on Auto
I find picture quality in Auto Mode very disappointing. I am sure there is a way to improve it through one of hundreds of adjustable settings but if you are casual photographer like me this camera may not be the best option.
Specially inside, when using flash, picture comes out washed-out and very dark. Outside pictures on a cloudy day are slightly better. We have twin babies and take a lot of pictures inside, needless to say, my wife is very disappointed.
Another issue, you can put time stamp on the picture only if you lower quality to 2 MP. I find that really annoying.
On the good side, it is very fast, it takes pictures almost instantaneously and battery lasts forever. Pictures outside on sunny day are beautiful.
In my experience, if you are not interested in learning anything about photography and all you want to do is take nice pictures with camera straight out of the box I would not recommend this model. YMMV.

Superb Camera
Digital Photography is my number one hobby, and this is the perfect camera to make it fun!

Excellent Camera
This is the first point and shoot purchased since 2002. After reading numerous reviews both on amazon.com as well as newegg.com, going into Best Buy and playing with all point and shoots available (then reading their reviews), and playing with a friends Canon SD 770, we decided to purchase this model.

Our reasons being:
1) All point and shoot Canons have the Color Accent feature, which is way too much fun to play with.
2) The image quality, in our opinion, is equal, if not far superior to all other models we played with. The color was crisper, the image was clearer (mostly due to the IS), and the screen larger.
3) The price off Amazon.com was by far lower than any other retailer. It put the camera under 0, which was competitively priced, and allowed us to purchase a camera with more features than any other in that range.

So far the battery life has been good, the computer software easy to use, and the camera operation simple to learn. Reading the manual is a must if you plan to do much more than just use automatic.

All in all, no issues, good price, and fun to use!

Awesome Watch From Breitling, but not a B1
Once again Breitling has designed a wonderful watch with the new Airwolf. The Airwolf has replaced the B1. However I still am not sure as to why ? The Airwolf is very similiar in design, with the log Chronograph a bit harder to read, the number "6" a bit smaller (Perhaps for a larger digital display ?), no "Made in Switzerland" or "Breitling" on the reverse side. My new Airwolf as was my old B1 (which was stolen) is of course "Breitling Accurate" with no time loss in the 3 months that I have owned it. The finish (Blue Dial, Professional Bracelet) get comments all the time, is fantastic.
