Get it, but try campmor
We've had the jansport Carson for a few years now, and have used it fairly extensively for day hikes and overnighters. It can't be beat for a frame pack, and can haul some serious weight (My husband has had 80lbs. or more in it) It has been very durable and is quite comfortable for us and I am a 5'7" female, and my husband a 5'8" male. It is comforable enough to be deceptive with the weight that you carry, so weigh the pack!
I love the main compartment which is zipper/velcro accessible from the back! (and drawstring accessible from the top). The top compartment comes off, or loosens with all straps being more than adequate to attach larger tents, bags and bedrolls/padding. Very accessible outer packs, and the frame is great for support and attaching anything to. side pocket are great for accessories or H20 bottles. Great waist adjustment, and some frame adjustibility too. The only thing I wish is that the 2 side holes inside between the main upper and main lower compartment were just a bit bigger so that my fishing rod canister would fit inside!
I like it well enough that I'm going to buy another one this year.

Good Backpack!
This is a good backpack for beginners and intermediate. Good size and comfortable for ext frame pack. My son like it but he request to have more padding on the shoulder strap. So, I added a extra padding that is used on a car safety belt. So far, he is satisfied.
