Worst Purchase Ever!
I was looking for an inexpensive cruiser for my sister for her birthday. I did my research, and decided to order this bike. The reviews seemed to be split, but I tend to be optimistic and was confident in my ability to follow directions for assembly.

The bike arrived quickly. First of all, the bike does not ship with a list of parts included for assembly. Secondly, the instruction manual that accompanies this bike is not specific to this bike. Parts of the bike were bent and broken even though the box it shipped in didn't look damaged. Because I didn't have a parts list, I didn't know that PARTS WERE MISSING, so I spent hours trying to assemble this bike with a generic instruction manual and missing parts.

Finally, I had to resort to taking the bike to a local bike shop where I spent more for parts and adjustments to make it safe to ride. I would have sent it back immediately if not for my sister's bday being that same week. After all the hours of frustration and additional money spent, the bike sure looked pretty. However, it rides awful! We disassembled it, shoved it back in the box and shipped it back to Amazon. Good riddance!

How disappointing that Amazon would carry a product like this! Don't buy it. Don't do it. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Came promptly and in good shape.
Having some (remote) experience with bicycle assembly, getting it in riding shape was not too hard and the directions were good. The hard part was determining which directions went with the purchased model.
Riding has been a pleasure for this casual recreational rider.

Easy Biking
I like my cruiser! My husband assembled it and he had to do some minor adjusting on the gears, brakes, etc. He is very capable so my bike does great. I think I will replace the seat with a higher end model. It is OK and relatively comfortable, but I can see it won't last for very long. I will also get a basket for small items. I like the look and the tires are cool. The price was right for an entry ("just see if I will use it") bicycle. I am using it and liking it. Enjoy!

Good Bike -- Packing Problems Solved
I got this bike and my husband put it together in less than 2 hours. No problems, but he's kind of handy with things like that. It would have taken me longer, no doubt.
The insufficient packing mentioned in other reviews that resulted in dents and dings has been upgraded. The bicycle was packed in a not-so-sturdy box that was inside a nice sturdy box. With the double packing, someone would have to try hard to damage the contents.
The bike is a dream to ride; very comfortable. If you live where it's extremely hilly, you might want more gears, but it's perfect for the flat terrain where I live.
Oh, and it's beautiful!!

Take it to a bike shop.
This bike came faster than it was supposed to, and was assembled within an hour.
I took it to a bike shop to get the kinks out, it was missing one screw, and the fender was a bit bent.
After they fixed any kinks and pumped the tires, I was good to go. I've been on quite a few 6-10 mile bike rides, and everything works safe, the gears are great for my hilly area, and I'm very satisfied.
