Owned it, returned it, nice watch though
I purchased this watch soon after it came out. Prior to owning this I had a Tag Heuer S/EL. While it is a lovely watch I had become spoiled by the smooth link bracelet of the S/EL and found this one a little uncomfortable by comparison. I also felt like switching from an S/EL to the replacement for the 2000 series was a bit of a step backwards.
So I returned the Aquaracer and purchased a Link Diamond. The bracelet was a lot more comfortable and it looks a little nicer for my taste.
If you are used to a conventional metal bracelet and a fairly large watch, you will probably love this watch. It just wasn't quite what I wanted.

About TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer traces its roots to the Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, watchmaker Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few. Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence.

Great all-around watch
This is a great watch! Elegant enough for tuxedo wear, but just as at-home with a T-shirt & blue jeans. All the features being controlled by the one button/knob is a bit tricky, but after reading the instructions it's not too complex.
Seems rugged enough and the nearly invisible crystal makes it look very sharp. Mine needed a new battery after only 3 weeks, but since it is a discontinued model I figure it sat on a shelf somewhere for a long time.
If you only want one watch that you can wear for any occasion, this is the best I've ever owned. The alarm is too quiet! If you don't work where it is pretty quiet, you'll never even hear it. And having no back light isn't good either. But I always have one of those LED key-chain lights on my house keys, so a quick sweep across the face & the luminescent hands glow plenty bright.
Excellent Watch!
